NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have been stuck on the International Space Station for nine months, are finally set to return to Earth as a new crew was launched to replace them. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carried Crew-10 members to the space station, including NASA’s Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers. The crew is part of a routine six-month rotation, and they are expected to reach the space station on Saturday. Wilmore and Williams’ return was delayed due to mechanical issues with their spacecraft, but they will now be coming back with NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov on Wednesday.
