Spanish police have dismantled a human trafficking ring that brought over 1,000 women to Spain under false pretenses, forcing them into sex work. The victims, mainly from Venezuela and Colombia, were promised jobs in beauty or cleaning sectors but were exploited in clubs instead. Three key leaders and 45 other suspects were arrested, with three strip clubs shut down. Police seized over $157,000 in cash, froze almost $1 million in bank accounts, and confiscated 17 properties. Six suspects are in custody, while the rest await trial on bail.
