5 lions rescued from the war in Ukraine settle into a new life in England

Five traumatized lions, rescued from the war zone in Ukraine, have found a new home in England at the Big Cat Sanctuary. These lions, including an African male lion and four lionesses, were brought to safety after a 12-hour journey from temporary shelters in Belgium. The lions are settling into the new Lion Rescue Center, joining a lioness who arrived earlier. The official opening of the sanctuary’s new center is set for Tuesday.
